"Good food, friendly staff, great connection to nature. Any haters on hear saying otherwise have unreasonable standards or an axe to grind for some reason. Waterpark was fun for the kids, evening shows were good. Definitely reccomend the cutural fire ceremony. We booked theough expedia so used the concierge service to book a la cart meals, which we heard fill up fast if using the resorts "app" (actually a web portal) I would visit again but probably for l9nger than our 1 week stay."

"Service, cleanlines food is all great. Best area on the beach and they clean it all day long. It is quieter resort and smaller, so less food options, but that was perfect for us. Spa and Hydrothreapy are very nice. No need to worry about reserving chairs by the pool or beach. It is a great resort. "

"Astonishing breathtaking view of the ocean looking at Cozumel! Super friendly and professional staff, from concierge to all restaurant staff, it felt personalized all along our stay!! Great value for a boutique hotel!! Food never lacked in quality but the only thing to improve is on consistency, when ordering the same dish a few times, it never tasted the same, alway good but different! All in all thank you!, i would repeat no questions asked!"

"My husband and I had an outstanding stay at the Viceroy in Riveria Maya...incredible service at the highest level, quiet, peaceful and was the perfect place to unwind. I have traveled around the world and have stayed at all of the top resorts, including the Four Seasons, Auberge, Ritz Carlton, The Peninsula, Ranch at Rock Creek, etc. I cannot say enough about the staff and how they made us feel. Their outlook on life and how they love this property is something that I have never witnessed before. Unfortunately they are closing end of April 2026 for a full remodel and will not be opening again until spring of 2027. I highly recommend getting there before they close!"
