"This was more like a 3.5 star resort. The good: relaxing pool, evening activities and entertainment. The bad: Food quality was bad (except for Rodeo grill) cocktails and mocktails quality, Activity pool very small, no music throughout the property grounds. The ugly: property needs updating! ensuite bathroom doors are in tough shape. Bathrooms around the property are terribly small, the one near the beach is so small it’s hard to get in. The bridge to the beach needs updating. One board collapsed while we were there. Safety issue. Beach might have been nice in the past, but at some point probably from a hurricane it has been destroyed. Tree branches and rocks everywhere. You can’t walk anywhere on the beach without getting hurt. "

"This property is amazing!! Your own go cup is very helpful for bar hopping and pool drinking!! Other than that there is nothing bad about this property the food is amazing the bar staff are quick and all the staff are cheerful and friendly and helpful!! 100% recommend it but I am finding it hard to rebook the available is sparse"

"The rooms are slightly aged and it showed. The room jacuzzi tub is pointless as it would take a year to fill. There is a lot of upsale on sight including in the restaurants. The stake house was not great pumped the air with liquid smoke smell and everything on the menu had liquid smoke on it. The Mexican and Italian Restaurant was okay. "

"Nice property and helpful staff with a beautiful pool. Unfortunately there was algae on the beach which made it hard to swim or go near the beach. I went as a single and I wouldn’t necessarily recommend sole travelers to go here as it’s primarily made for adult couples and families."

"Fabian gave us excellent room service. The food was excellent. The beach was not really usable because of all the seagrass. This was our second stay at this property and we will not return again."

"First impression is everything and the hotel looks better in person than in pictures, but the checking lack of information. The person who checked us in didn't provided any information of the hotel, he referred us to another person who told us that we were obligated to sit on a 90 minutes time share talk which we didn't agreed on point. Then while we were waiting for a room, we went to the beach and sit on an available chair and this guy came out of nowhere telling me that the area was for club members and I needed to get up. I told the guy to give me a few minutes until my wife and daughter came back and they guy told me; you got 5 minutes to move or we are going to charge you $55. I talked to two people about the situation and nothing was done. The food was not that great for Mexico which was weird. The only good thing was the waiters were nice and friendly. Hotel has potential but wrong staff"

"Pool chairs were impossible to get had yo ne uo by 530am to get chairs- Robes in room would be nice Akso would be nice to make dinner reservations at all restaurants everything was booked when we got there for almost the entire week. staff very friendly and helpful "
