"It took 2 hours to check in. The hotel and room is dirty and an a bit run down. The elevators kept getting stuck and we had to climb 8 flights of stairs to get to the 4th floor. The ceiling has mold and mildew stains. The hotel smells of dirty water and pets and it just has an "ick" to it. "Great location if you like being in the busier area of Kill Devil Hills/Nags Head. Right on the beach and walking access to several restaurants and shops. Room was nice, clean, cold a/c, there was a walking deck with a nice sitting area to view the ocean and access the beach area with foot wash station. Kill Devill Grille right across the street. "I would not stay here again. The hotel was disappointing and did not live up to its listing or the price we paid. Our room had black mold in the shower, which was unacceptable. The pool was small, looked dingy, and was out of service for two days while awaiting chemicals. The listing advertised complimentary beach chairs and umbrellas, but they were unavailable for the first several days of our stay. Since we were told they weren’t available, we ended up buying our own. About halfway through...

"Had to wait almost an hour and a half for a room after getting there 35 minutes after checkin time. Room stilling getting cleaned at almost 5pm it was a whole lot of people in the lobby waiting on there rooms to be ready. I made my reservation almost 4 moths ago. I will say it was a nice Hotel and the lady at the front desk was nice and did her best. They got the heat the worse and it wasn't there fault. Management dropped the ball on Saturday's check-in big time. Im scared I might have ti wait...

"Great place all around will be back soon we stayed on the older side of the property and was still very nice and clean could use little more work but definitely a nice spot on the beach! All the staff were very friendly and helpful. They could really work on the elevator it was super slow and almost the hottest thing at the entire beach it felt like I was going to pass out in there it was so hot"

"The indoor pool and jacuzzi were not monitored. The jacuzzi water was milky looking and disgusting. The indoor pool was dirty and full of sand. The cleaning staff left a dirty Mr Clean Eraser in our room one day and I told the supervisor. The next day the dirty Mr Clean Eraser was still there along with a cleaner's employee key card. The rest of the hotel was and amenities were average."

"Only thing I didn’t like was we checked in little after 5 and there was a tie die thing my granddaughter wanted to do the next day but they said we couldn’t cause u had to sign up by 5 and made her upset"

"Bill was incorrect. I charge for a night’s stay I had already paid and extras. The staff was helpful in working it out but it is not off my credit card yet. We were not notified when the room was ready and waiting 3 hours.a text was to be sent but was not."

"The hotel was conveniently close to the airport - about 10 mins. Katey May checked us in and was super professional and offered several options for dining and activities. The room was clean and very well appointed. Great location, close to historic downtown Wilmington, Wrightsville Beach, and also close to highways to visit Carolina Beach, Southport, and Myrtle. Finally, their check in warm cookies cannot be beat! A fantastic experience!"

"Nice place but a little disappointed that the pool was closed."

"The staff was very nice but the first room on the first night had so many bugs and then they changed our room but the bugs were definitely everywhere. The shower was stained and the bathtub would not drain and so we just made sure to not shower there and showered where our friends were staying. I literally killed so many bugs and our pet that was with us could not rest because they were also trying to kill bugs too. Absolutely would not stay here again and I did not even think to use the pool....
