"Interesting building, very nice staff, particularly at the front desk, the bar and breakfast. Efficient and friendly. Great sized room. Ideally I would have been closer to the city centre as it is about 30 minutes from Royal Albert Dock and the centre. I've found breakfast options seem to have reduced generally across these sorts of hotels, lack of seeds, nuts, hams and cheeses etc. I prefer a broader choice as often found in Europe. Otherwise perfectly comfortable place to stay."

"Room quite dark due to navy walls but modern. TV in very awkward place to watch. Noise from nearby clubs/bars but luckily we could close doors/window as the hotel had thoughtfully put a fan in the room (weather very hot -28 - 30 degrees). Downstairs cafe / reception very comfortable with air conditioning. Prices reasonable. Easy to walk to shops, docks, museums etc Enjoyed our stay "

"The Liner is a lovely hotel in a central location. It is great to stay in a hotel that provides free car parking. The breakfast is adequate and the hotel is clean throughout. Would definitely recommend and will most definitely stay again. "

"We chose the hotel as it was affordable accommodation in easy reach of Anfield Stadium! The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable and well equipped for our needs! The breakfast was excellent and we would not hesitate to stay again and we would certainly recommend the hotel to friends . "It is well-placed for easy access to the Liverpool shopping and theatre area with excellent transport links. The property is dated and needs a bit of an update to the room and general areas, but clean and comfy rooms with an excellent choice of quality produce at breakfast. "
