"Given that it's a hostel and the price is so low, I wasn't expecting much. But the Mayan Monkey was amazing. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming (shout out to Javiera and David), the public areas were lively and engaging, the food and drinks were great, and my bunk was comfortable, cool, and quiet. "This resort is a smaller, more personal resort with amazing staff and a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. The staff gets to know you and speaks WITH you, not AT you. Love going to this resort year after year. "
