"Lake Garda is a stunning place and we were delighted with Grand Hotel Terme as our choice of accommodation. The location is fantastic. There is plenty to explore on the peninsula and it is easy to get out on the water by boat. The hotel itself has amazing views of the castle and the lake. "Great property just quick 10 min walk from Varenna train station. Perfect proximity to ferries, lovers walk, shops, and food. Right next door to Villa Cipresi. Rooms were modern, clean, bed was comfortable and staff beyond helpful and friendly. Would totally stay again "

"Hotel is in a very small village on lake adjacent to Lake Como -- easy to Milan about 45 min and to other villages and Lake Como about 30 min. Lovely staff, nice, comfortable rooms that are well appointed and gorgeous bathrooms. Not much to do in the immediate area so don't expect to walk around a cute town, but the hotel has a solid restaurant with a good breakfast and nice dinner dishes overlooking the lake. "
