I had a very late arrival (1am) from a business meeting in London, I got lost in the lanes and there was emergency road works, I called the hotel tired, cranky and lost, Richard was so kind, patient, calm, what an absolutely outstanding example of looking after your customers, when I arrived he extended that excellence, by upgrading me so I could stay in the main house and personally...

Reasonable prices and more facilities than a premier inn which is probably a comparable standard. Pub food was average but some good offers on food and drinks if you join the rewards club app, breakfast buffet was better than dinner food. Really friendly staff at reception and in the pub/bar. "
