"Stayed here for two nights. The room was clean and spacious. Good facilities in room but it was incredibly hot during our visit so a fridge in room would have improved our stay as no air conditioning but not many days in England you would need it. Breakfast was lovely, small but everything you could want. Evening menu was a bit limited and I probably would go somewhere else for an evening meal. The staff were all excellent, friendly and helpful."

"What a wonderful stay, we were upgraded to a deluxe room for my husbands 40th without us even asking so that was a lush surprise and very welcome. The staff everywhere were all really attentive and informative. We only had breakfast here but it was absolutely delicious, I would 100% recommend and visit again."

"Great hotel, beautiful building. Appreciating the hotel is family owned, it could do with a little modern tlc TV didn’t work in the bedroom for channels 1-4. Extractor fan in the bathroom didn’t work, towels are quite old, Check your dinner bill, we had 3 bottles of wine added to the bill but we’d only had 1 £25 bottle. "Lovely hotel but very little to do. With all guests spending time at the spa there was no beds by the pool. Food was delicious but overall the experience was too expensive compared to its value."

"Under new group and nothing like when it was a Best Western. The Spa pool was still out of order. We were there in October and it was broken. There was not the warm and friendly feel we’ve received for the last six years. It was very false. I’m not worried about fresh linen in my room, totally agree with only on request, but a clean cup and glass and tea etc being replenished would have been very welcomed. Not the same hotel and won’t be returning."

"All the staff were friendly, and the customer service was excellent. We stayed here for our daughter's wedding we all had a fantastic time. The wedding coordinator, Daisy, was excellent. The day ran smoothly and without issues, just what you need. It was the hottest day in May on record, and still, the staff worked tirelessly to make the day special. The food was delicious.
