"Lovely welcome upon arrival and shown to a beautiful room with more than everything that we required. Very clean and comfortable - had the best nights sleep. Lovely bar with log fire and a gorgeous evening meal. Breakfast was excellent. Would highly recommend. We will be staying again."

"Situated in the very centre of Kelso, convenient place to stay when exploring the area. Checkin was done very easily, with clear instructions sent beforehand. There is a Greggs just in front of the hotel, and also several restaurants and takeaways in close vicinity. There was double glazing in the room, and hence better insulation. "

My only niggle (and it is a niggle) was that our room also had the upstairs fire escape door - which was not mentioned at all (ie, what to do in event of a fire and whether our bedroom was the fire escape access for all the rooms in our section)."

"From the min we arrived staff were helpful & polite, our room was spotless, bed was amazingly comfortable (best sleep i.v had in a while), room temp was lovely & warm & easily adjusted, food was delicious & good value. Shower was nice, good water pressure. Yes we would definitely return. Thank you for a lovely stay."
