"The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Easy walk to the bus. We bought bus tickets across the street at the store which also sold some bakery and deli items. Large grocery store next door which also had a hot deli. Restaurants were within two blocks. "

Close walking proximity to train Station was a plus and I walked to all my favorite sites in about 3.5 hours round trip!! Trevi, Pantheon, Ruins, Colosseum, just to name a few. "

"I could not have picked a better hotel than Hotel Orlanda. The accomodations were excellent and the staff could not have been more accomodating, from front desk staff to housekeeping/environmental! The hotel is close to many landmarks, museums and church's and there is plenty of reataurants, shopping and laundry service in the area! "Solo senior traveler. Perfect location few blocks from Vatican City. About 5 blocks from subway and 50 yards or so from bus stops. Many restaurants within very easy walk. Rome bus is easy easy to learn and very good value. Took SIT bus from airport. 7 euro and stop within 5 min of hotel. Hotel provides luggage storage. Hotel staff there 24 hrs, super super nice and helpful. Hotel very clean. Breakfast is coffee, pastry filled consonants, fruit juice, jams and jellies. Very common...
