"We reserved a bungalow and ended up requesting a room change due to rodant droppings on our bed after our first night. Once we were transferred to another room the hot water was not functioning and had to wait until the morning for maintenance to replace. The pool and the jacuzzi were not clean and we choose not to get in. We stayed a total of 8 days and 7 nights and did enjoy a cool room because the a/c functioned excellent. "I didn't know this property automatically charges my card the day of so my bank saw it as a fraud alert and I also didn't recognize it as a expedia purchase because is appeared as sands boutique and not expedia. I cancled my card for no reason. One of the two pools were closed the entire."

"Where to begin! Beautiful, relaxing experience. Claudia & Juan were so welcoming, helpful, and kind. Assisted with great humour and spirit for everything I needed. I already miss Chef Miguel's breakfasts. Such a wonderful way to start each day; especially when it can be hard to eat later in the day, when it's hot. The room was lovely. My only complaint is outside the hotel's control- nearby business has very loud music and thumping bass until late. The ambience is worth a bit of missed sleep...

Bad smells from blocked drains and there is a building site right next door. Jack hammers and noisy 3 out of 7 days. Cant stay in room. Also taxi ride to main tourist strip."

"The hotel is not 4-star condition. Continental breakfast was served at a hotel 2 blocks away. Reception did not know it was included. Staff is pleasant and hospitable. Pool is nice and roof top offers comfortable seating arrangement. AC struggled at times and the balcony light did not turn off. It's an okay hotel. For the price, there are plenty of options all over Playa del Carmen."

"The experience was amazing and the staff were very helpful. The only problem was we booked the king size bed suite and when we got there we were given the double bed suite instead . We paid for the king size bed room but we got a cheaper room instead so we lost money . Also the small room didn’t have a microwave and that’s one of the main reasons we got the king room . But after 2 days the staff were able to get a microwave in the smaller room . Overall great place to stay except for that one...
