"Good things first. The staff are lovely. The breakfast is fresh and delicious. The proximity to a nice family beach is a 2 min walk away. The bad. Over priced. Both airconditioners didn't work. Bad smells from blocked drains and there is a building site right next door. Jack hammers and noisy 3 out of 7 days. Cant stay in room. Also taxi ride to main tourist strip."

"Los restaurants que reserva para la cena todos excelentes excepto el mexicano de tacos. En general la propiedad en areas comunes, necesita estar mas limpio de vasos y basureros. No me gusto el q constatemente llega el personal a interrumpirte para ofrecerte q te hagas Socio. Pesimo q la propiedad tenga zonas divididas por el family concierge. Que no digan que es all inclusive si no puedes entrar a todas las areas."

"I’ve been to Akumal & Playa Blanca secrets.. this ranks last in our list. The property seemed worn down, food quality was not a good as the other secrets, and overall the service was very slow at any restaurant we dined in. Probably will not return to this property. When you’ve been to other high quality resorts.. you kinda expect almost the same experience."

"I didn't know this property automatically charges my card the day of so my bank saw it as a fraud alert and I also didn't recognize it as a expedia purchase because is appeared as sands boutique and not expedia. I cancled my card for no reason. One of the two pools were closed the entire."

"Where to begin! Beautiful, relaxing experience. Claudia & Juan were so welcoming, helpful, and kind. Assisted with great humour and spirit for everything I needed. I already miss Chef Miguel's breakfasts. Such a wonderful way to start each day; especially when it can be hard to eat later in the day, when it's hot. The room was lovely. My only complaint is outside the hotel's control- nearby business has very loud music and thumping bass until late. The ambience is worth a bit of missed sleep...
