"We were fortunate to receive an upgrade to a cabin for our stay and it was amazing. I highly recommend you book one if you are able to. It was the largest room we had on our trip and it was nice to get to spread out a bit. They also offer a call if the Northern Lights are visible, just make sure the ringer is turned up on the phone in the room. Ours was turned off so we missed the call they made. "

Easy access to the surrounding water with the views being brilliant, particularly at sunrise and sunset! Álftanes is a great place to stay if you have a car and aim to travel around the west of Iceland. "
