"We had an excellent stay at Lopesan Costa Bavaro. We upgraded to the Unique package at check-in and it was absolutely worth it. Access to the other 3 Lopesan resorts, breakfast on the beach every morning at the Unique club, private beach, lobster, and so much more. We had filets by the beach everyday for lunch. It was the perfect trip for our anniversary and we would definitely come back for the unique package."

"The resort is still relatively new. There were a few restaurants that were not open yet. During our stay, some restaurants opened every other day and it has tricky to get a reservation. The buffet food was the same throughout our 5 days stay. The staff is very intense trying to sell you their members and residence program even when you’re checking out still trying to sell you something that you feel harassed like a street vendor . Overall the hotel has good design but food and service was okay."

"El hotel en sí es muy bonito. Se nota que es un poco antiguo, pero el aseo podría mejorar bastante. En el área del restaurante hay un olor muy desagradable, quizá debido a los ductos de ventilación. También vimos a muchas personas fumando por distintas partes del hotel, especialmente cerca del restaurante. Esto resulta incómodo, sobre todo cuando uno viaja con niños. Sería mejor que hubiera áreas designadas para fumar, en vez de permitirlo en todas partes."

"I’ll start off by saying that check-in was a complete disaster. My family and I waited an entire hour just to get checked in. After completing check-in, we were stopped by the concierge, who spoke with us before we were finally able to make our way to our room.
Unfortunately, our experience has been very uncomfortable. The staff have been making us feel unwelcome through their side-eyes, stares, and the way they speak about us in their language while we’re around. Based on their behavior, we...

"Have visited the area several times and this resort is the best one I’ve stayed at. Entire staff was amazing!!! Food was delicious and readily available at all hours, everything was clean and manicured and the bartenders will be your best friends. Any request we had were handled promptly and with a smile.
The pool chairs do get claimed all day long with towels and bags so it was hard to find a place for our personal items but I have no other complaints."
