"We didn't know that you needed to request to have your room cleaned. Apparently we were supposed to have been told that upon check in, but did not receive the message until we asked. Not a biggie as we generally don't ask for our room to be cleaned until after about the third day.
The air conditioning in the room is hard to control and the vent blows directly at the bed with no way to angle it. We ended up having to block the unit with our luggage or we'd be blasted with cold air throughout the...

"The Hotel Avante was great. While the hotel has basic services it does have a pool and the staff are lovely. The rooms are large and very comfortable.
It is strategically located between Mountain View, Sunnyvale, San Jose, Etc which is great as you can get to all the major areas within 15 to 20 minutes.
I like this hotel, and I have stayed here quite some times now and I will stay again."
"I was attending a concert at the shoreline amphitheater and found this place to be the only one under $200 for a night within a 10 minute drive of the theater. Check in was extremely easy and the staff were very kind. My room was spotless and I was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable the mattress was. I would definitely stay here again!"
