"This was a great location for our vacation as it was centrally located to the things we wanted to see and do. We took the train to Venice and once we arrived, we needed to purchase tickets outside by the canal for the water bus. The hotel is on a canal which is lovely but it's not where the boat drops you off. You will need to walk about 10 minutes to the hotel. There is no elevator but the hotel has a lot of charm. The staff was very helpful. The rooms and bathrooms are a bit small but roomier...

"Nice little hotel, close to Piazza San Marcos, though not too close to exit the hotel into a sea of people walking. The Alilaguna and vaporetto stations are about 5 minutes walking.
