They are part of the "Palace" resorts and push memberships when you arrive and throughout your stay. Memberships= Timeshare. 80% of all chairs by the pool were reserved for Platinum "members". We had a total of 6 rooms including a governors suite. I had to go down at 7 AM and put personal items on second rate chairs by the pool or nothing would be...

"I have visited other Iberostar hotels in different countries, but I have never had such a bad experience as the one we had here. The staff at this hotel are not friendly at all, and the way they treat guests is terrible, at least based on my family's experience and mine. We had three rooms booked. It was my birthday, and when we arrived at the restaurants at 8:30 p.m., we were told they were already closed because of the lines. "The staff was helpful and respectful. My only concern was the time frame for swimming in beach. 9am to 6:30 is not nearly enough time. Some people enjoy an early swim and others a bit later . Maybe consider 2 different shifts."

"Room AC was not working after calling multiple times person came and did something but it did resolve the issue. We were sweating in night since ac was not working. Person who came to fix don’t understand other the Spanish. We. Did sleep for all three nights first night was fine as we were tired"

"The room was chill and cool with amazing views. The staff was friendly and attentive towards us. We thoroughly enjoyed the food and alcohol. We walked to the beach several times and we enjoyed it immensely. Our stay was wonderful and a 10/10 highly recommend it."

"Overall the location and resort was great. I went with 4 adults and 2 kids age 3 and 6. The resort was very family friendly and we enjoyed ourselves the whole time. My only issue was some of the staff members were not friendly and did not provide great service. There was one time at the pool grill i waited 15+ minutes for the cooks to come back, and the waiter who was there the whole time acknowledged everyone else who came after me. Other than that.. no complaints. WE LOVED THE KIDS AREA"

We do think that for the size of the property more restaurants are needed, food variety can be better as they aren’t many to choose from and snack bar by the main pool will ideal as you will need to dried up to head to the buffet places or even the snack station by the lobby."
