"We had an awesome time at Hyatt Zilara. The staff is excellent and super friendly. They have an awesome coffee shop with excellent coffee and pastries. The breakfast buffet is good. Food was to be as expected at an all inclusive resort. The Asian restaurant and the hibachi was the best. Pool is nice and large. Special shout out to Michelle the pool concierge and Lucero, the barista (both sweet ladies)
who made our stay so pleasant! Thank you all, for the amazing job you do every single day!!"

"Absolutely not worth it. The property is old and not well maintained. We were one of few families that got duped by this high rating on here and thought that this is going to be an excellent place to have vacation with kids but it turned out the opposite. Food is mediocre to okay for breakfast and lunch, then better for dinner. Something as basic as getting a proper espresso drink though was impossible. We’ve stayed at St Regis Kanai before this stay and it was absolutely stunning - so going...

"Came back here with my wife for our 5 year anniversary! Originally was Hilton now it’s Hyatt. The hotel personal is always extremely friendly and helpful. The beach is basically non existent (we knew that it wasn’t great from our first visit, so we didn’t care) but now it’s completely washed away. So if you are looking for a beach property this one isn’t the one. On the other hand you can walk over to the hotel next door and the beach was decent there so if you don’t mind walking less than...

"I stayed at this property in Playa del Carmen for two nights, and overall, I would say it’s a decent option if you’re travelling on a budget, but not the place to choose if you’re looking for a more elevated hotel experience.
The rooms are quite small, especially considering there are two beds. The bathroom layout is also cramped, with the toilet positioned very close to the shower, which can be inconvenient if you’re sharing the room with someone other than your partner. The property has an...
