The room we were given had two small beds rather than a king bed. It took two days to get switched to a room with a king bed. A large portion of the resort was closed for remodel but this was not disclosed prior to us arriving. Food at La Hacienda was not good. Very bland flavor and could not even eat...

"We just got back from a 5 day stay at Secrets Impressions. This place is really impressive with all of the quality pools and flora for whatever setting you want. Music at the main pool & bar, quiet settings if you want that, a lagoon pool that makes you feel like you're in a secluded cove of the islands. Great food at all restaurants! We would go back and wish we booked for longer. Thx Secrets!"

"Smooth arrival and check in. The room was cleaned “okay” upon our arrival to the room, although few garbage pieces were still present from previous occupants. Not a big deal but still 😐 The room cleaning is inconsistent, one day cleaned, next no, same with nightly turn down service, it was done not on every night. Concierge service in What’s app is not good and the only thing that made us unhappy. We were let down on dinner reservations many times with empty promises and no follow ups....

"Spacious and clean room, nice pool and jacuzzi. But check-in experience lengthened by invitations to a sales pitch. The food and drinks in the hotel restaurants were underwhelming, poor quality even the simplest classic cocktails."

"The staff throughout the property was very classy. Always a hello with a smile. And quick Answers or directions when asked. The buffet food and servers were actually just a bit better than the ala cart restaurants and that is not an easy thing to say. Altho we did have a couple great servers in the à la cart restaurants the food was really lacking except for Oishii’s. "

"The rooms were very clean, staff was very friendly and helpful, outdoor pool was nice. There is no beach front and the seaweed has taken over what is there. The common areas were not busy at all, this may be due to part of the resort being residential. Overall a good resort. "

"The building is in poor condition, rooms requires lots of work; shuttle is needed for beach and main pool access (long walk from some buildings); beach was poorly cleaned from seaweed; food was average; drinks/juices were all artificial tasting; pools were clean but as usual seating was limited from people saving spots; shows were really late. The room had a noticeable old smell, which might be unpleasant for people who are sensitive to odors. There was also quite a bit of noise coming through the door from housekeeping and people walking in the hallway. It wasn’t terrible, but since we had little ones the noise was sometimes disturbing, especially when they were trying...
