"Very nice hotel inside - few wear and tear items but nothing I couldn't live with. Staff were always friendly and nice, often having to deal with some perverse remarks from other guests. They respect your privacy, especially if you're there on business or for confidential reasons."

"Stayed here a few times when visiting family. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Breakfast is amazing, really sets you up for the day. Living in the US you don't get breakfast like this. The only thing I would like to see is the amenities in the bathroom more eco friendly. Liquid hand soap as opposed to a bar. Some hotels even have the dispensers in the showers. This would have been handy for our shower as you had to put the shower gel on the floor. Coffee, not used to making this with...

"Excellent - comfortable and very clean room and bathroom; breakfast is served in quirky bar downstairs and is excellent - they bring everything to you. no elbowing other guests out of the way over the muesli bowl (only joking!). Hotel was clearly converted from a house, it is easy to get most between, bar, hotel and reception."
