"Unfortunately, we just had one of those trips. I don't feel this review represents my normal Hilton experience. But we had numerous issues with our stay. The biggest one we couldn't use our shower for a day and a half. It was only scorching hot. We finally asked for maintenance. They came and fixed it while we went for breakfast but we had to call again. He was there very quickly and explained that we had to run the cold water tap to bring the heat of the shower down. LOL. "Total cost for a room with two “queen” beds was $421 all in. The beds were not queen beds. More like double. Ensure to not book the “Main” building if you want the more updated rooms. We wish we would’ve known this in advance. The main building was built in the 1920’s and the hotel has kept it “vintage”. TV was small and few channels. The wall blow dryer was less than adequate. "Very interesting and unique property with the bank vault in the basement - really cool feature! Nice clean rooms. Hallways showing some wear in the historic side. One bedroom with sofa bed - sofa bed mattress not very comfortable, really thin. Not enough bedding, just a thin blanket and one pillow."

"Everything you need in one stop from a convenience store, pool, restaurant, to convenient parking. The staff is very nice and accommodating. The beds are comfortable except in need of new pillows. The TTC subway/bus is right at the hotel’s doorstep and only $13. Taxi is a $40 ride to downtown. I see the hotel being modernized from the decor and furniture. Bathroom needed a little TLC. "This hotel has a beautiful view of the falls and is very close to the falls area. Our room could have used some updating as the carpet was worn, but it was clean and comfortable. There is a bus stop very close, and that was very helpful to get to the more distant attractions and restaurants. It doesn’t quite live up to the photos used in advertising, but all in all, it’s a very nice place to stay."

"Patrons should be aware that they have to use their phone to connect to tv stations. High-tech is great, but to me this was an unnecessary waste of time. We stayed in an executive, uniquely shaped room with a very comfortable king-size bed, well done. Breakfast is very good with lots of fresh choices. "
