"The pool has literal lumps of black dirt on the tiles, it hasn’t been cleaned for a long time. The jacuzzi is the same temperature as the pool and also dirty. No shower facilities after the “swim” Run down hotel, breakfast staff were just there, never said good morning, no interaction from any staff actually. Won’t be staying there again. "

"The Hotel is approx 2 minutes walk from Torquay train station so very convenient . The foyer , entrance dining rooms bar area, swimming pool area are all excellently decorated in a style suitable for the age of the hotel, Th staff were also excellent. Our room was on the 3rd floor and we could use the stairs or lift. The room itself was practical and comfortable , but just a little bit dated compared to some other 4 start hotels of a similar age we have stayed in, as there was no air...

"We made a last minute diversion here when we missed the ferry due to a car fire closing the motorway. The staff were super welcoming and understanding and we had a great stay. We enjoyed the pool, games room and restaurant. "
